Application Fee
NOTE: The Canadian Plastics Sector Council will no longer be
accepting applications for certification at the moment.
Applicants will be charged a fee when applying for 3-year certification. A re-certification fee will also apply for practitioners who renew their certification after a three-year period.
Note: Cert.PPs applying for a higher level will also be subject to a fee.
CPSC Certification Fees
- $50 per occupation per level. The certification will be valid for a period of 3 years
- $50 for re-certification after a period of 3 years.
- A company can apply for a rebate of $5 per occupation per level after it has paid for 10 or more of its employees to be certified at the same time (i.e. 10% discount will apply). The certifications will be valid for a period of 3 years. Please click here to download the form.
- Any applicants applying for 3 or more distinct certifications at the same time can apply for a rebate of $5 per occupation per level (i.e. 10% discount will apply). The certifications will be valid for a period of 3 years. Please click here to download the form.
Please note that applications are only valid for 6 months. If an applicant fails to complete all necessary steps within six months, the application becomes inactive and a new application is required. A $50 fee will be applied.

This site is intended for educators, counsellors, students and parents, and provides valuable information, links and downloadable resources for training and careers in the plastics industry. It also gives plenty of background info on the history of plastics, its many applications, as well as plastics and the environment.
